DAS Solar Rises to No.8 in Global PV Module Shipment Ranking H1 2024

2024-08-14

Quzhou, Aug. 14, 2024 - DAS Solar, a leader in N-type PV technology, ranks No.8 in PV module global shipment in H1 2024 released by InfoLink Consulting, a leading global research consultancy in renewable energy and technology. In addition, the company achieves an A rating in Q2 PV ModuleTech Bankability Ratings Report, further emphasizing its global brand influence among the TOP10.

Notably, N-type TOPCon module shipment accounts for nearly 70% of the total shipment. With N-type technology at its core, DAS Solar is dedicated to continuous exploration and rigorous research in technology innovation, consistently surpassing industry standards in cell and module efficiency. The company has set the world record for conversion efficiency of large-area TOPCon cells for three consecutive times within eight months. The cell achieves an impressive mass production efficiency of up to 26.6%, and a open-circuit voltage of 742mV. Guided by the "one core and three branches" strategy, DAS Solar developed three supporting technologies of the DBC, TSiP, and SFOS, aiming to improve the cell efficiency to 40%. Apart from TOPCon 4.0 rectangular series and DBC series, DAS Solar also rolls out lightweight modules, flexible mounting systems and other diversified products, unlocking more possibilities of "PV+" through its all-scenario solutions covering residential, commercial and utility applications.

According to InfoLink Consulting, in an era of increasingly homogenized competition, the wattage, quality and efficiency of the product are becoming crucial elements among competitive manufacturers. Quality, in particular, is emerging as the next priority. DAS Solar's modules, featuring TOPCon 4.0 Plus cells, excel in high efficiency, power output, bifaciality, degradation resistance, and reliability. Having successfully passed rigorous 3x IEC and IEC 63209 reliability tests, these modules have demonstrated exceptional durability, ensuring robust power performance even in challenging environments.

Meanwhile, the overseas strategic layout is also one of the key points this year. Under the rise of the anti-globalization trend, the decentralized layout of overseas manufacturing plants will test the operation and control capabilities of manufacturers. As a result, the ability to proactively plan and make swift decisions regarding layout will present an opportunity for manufacturers to distinguish themselves.

Over the years, DAS Solar has strategically expanded its presence globally. Faced with market opportunities worldwide, the company establishes subsidiaries in Germany, Japan, and Australia, consolidating its overseas presence through a complete sales network in Europe, LATAM, APAC, Oceania and other regions. Particularly, committed to refining technical support and after-sales service, DAS Solar establishes a national manufacturing network covering East, North, South, Northwest and Southwest China with distributed manufacturing bases. Combined with local advantages of resources, the company is able to provide customers with rapid response and one-stop hassle-free service.

By virtue of impressive R&D strength and strategic expansions, DAS Solar is set to play a pivotal role in the global shift towards renewable energy, further solidifying its position as a leader in the PV industry and paving the way for a net-zero future.
