DAS Solar and Sonnenpark Halenbeck-Rohlsdorf Join Forces in Germany

2024-06-22

Munich, Germany – In a significant development at Intersolar Europe, DAS Solar has entered into a landmark agreement with Sonnenpark Halenbeck-Rohlsdorf for a major solar energy project in northern Brandenburg. The signing ceremony took place with key signatories, including Karl Heinz Remmers and Denis Sherlizyn, CEOs of Sonnenpark Halenbeck-Rohlsdorf, alongside Liu Yong, President of DAS Solar, and Vincent Cao, Senior Vice President of DAS Solar.

The project, Sonnenpark Halenbeck-Rohlsdorf I and Sonnenpark Halenbeck-Rohlsdorf II, is poised to make a substantial impact on the renewable energy landscape. Scheduled to supply approximately 239 GWh of electricity annually from the second quarter of 2026, the park will feature a photovoltaic capacity of 2x 115 MWp and 2x 5 MWh of storage in its basic configuration. This ambitious project is set to inject clean energy into the e.dis 110kV grid and the connected 380kV grid of 50 Hertz.

"Sonnenpark Halenbeck-Rohlsdorf" has been developed with a strong emphasis on biodiversity standards. A notable feature of the park is the extensive hedge surrounding the area, stretching over 10 kilometers in length and 3 meters in width. This commitment to environmental sustainability underscores the project's alignment with ecological best practices.

The benefits of this project extend beyond renewable energy generation. Local communities stand to gain significantly, with the project offering a low-cost electricity tariff for local citizens. This initiative not only supports the transition to sustainable energy but also fosters community development and energy affordability. DAS Solar is committed to advancing solar energy solutions and promoting sustainable development globally.
