DAS Solar recognized as "PQP Top Performer" by Kiwa PVEL

The globally renowned independent testing laboratory, Kiwa PV Evolution Labs (Kiwa PVEL), released its 2024 PV Module Reliability Scorecard Report recently. With its innovative leadership in N -type technology and exceptional reliability, DAS Solar's high-efficiency bifacial modules were selected as a "PQP Top Performer". Tristan Erion-Lorico and Eddie Hu, Head of the China Division at Kiwa PVEL, presented the certificate to DAS Solar at the 2024 Intersolar Europe exhibition.

 

 

Kiwa PVEL is an independent third-party testing laboratory that is recognized worldwide. To comprehensively evaluate the performance of photovoltaic modules from multiple perspectives, its Product Qualification Program (PQP) includes thermal cycling, damp heat, potential-induced degradation, light-induced degradation, light and elevated temperature-induced degradation, and mechanical stress sequence.

 

DAS Solar's N-type bifacial modules underwent rigorous evaluations in PQP test, which included 600 thermal cycles, 2000 hours of damp heat testing, 192 hours of PID testing, and dynamic and static mechanical load tests. In spite of these challenges, they were able to generate high-efficiency power and adapt to extreme climates well.

 

DAS Solar N-type bifacial modules offer power outputs ranging from 430W to 640W with a 23% efficiency, leveraging advanced N-type TOPCon 4.0 Plus technology. With high-reliability encapsulation technology, this series has a symmetrical design in the cells and encapsulation materials, reducing internal stress and enhancing weather resistance. The advanced design and material selection provide higher bifacial generation efficiency, optimized temperature coefficients, improved resistance to microcracks, and reduced light-induced degradation. These features effectively lower system BOS and LCOE costs, ensuring long-term, stable, and efficient power generation. Additionally, this series boasts high adaptability across a variety of scenarios, with multiple models and power options to meet the demands of desert, urban, and floating PV applications, meeting the diverse requirements of various application scenarios.
