DAS Solar N-type 4.0 lights up InterSolar Europe in Germany

2024-06-20

Munich, Germany - June 20, 2024 - DAS Solar showcased its high-efficiency N-type 4.0 series modules at InterSolar Europe from June 19 to 21, 2024. InterSolar Europe is one of the world's largest solar events, gathering leading manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and service providers in the field of new energy. The event provides an opportunity for industry experts to discuss the latest technological trends in photovoltaics.

In Europe, the photovoltaic market has encountered new opportunities amid the European energy crisis. It is estimated that Germany installed 4.98 GW of new PV from January to April this year, a significant increase of 34.23 GW over the same period in 2023.

As a leader in N-type technology, DAS Solar is dedicated to continuous exploration and rigorous research, consistently surpassing industry standards in cell and module efficiency. Equipped with DAS Solar's cutting-edge TOPCon 4.0 plus cell technology, the cell achieved an impressive mass production efficiency of up to 26.6%, and the open circuit voltage of 742mV a world record.

The German photovoltaic market has stringent requirements. We have displayed five modules at this exhibition in response to these requests. In addition to meeting the needs of large-scale ground stations and residential rooftops, the 60-cell module is designed for easy transportation and installation, providing an optimal, differentiated solution for both commercial and industrial applications. Beside, lightweight module with a frame uses glass-free encapsulation technology, reducing module weight by more than 55% while maintaining power output. It is easy to install, highly compatible, and features a detachable structure for convenient inspection and maintenance. The frame design meets IEC standards for snow loads of 5400 Pa and wind loads of 2400 Pa. Also on display is the N-type self-cleaning module featuring bifacial double-glass encapsulation that enhances performance and stability. The innovative design eliminates the A-side frame, effectively preventing dust accumulation and ensuring efficient operation throughout its lifecycle. This design not only ensures high-efficiency power generation but also simplifies maintenance for owners. Additionally, DAS Solar's 66-cell N-type series modules feature 210 rectangular wafers, an upgrade from 191.6 wafers, resulting in a power output exceeding 600W.

Since its establishment in 2018, DAS Solar has undergone significant growth and transformation over the past 5 years. It has consistently achieved double-digit growth in shipments and revenue annually, with global module shipments consistently ranking in the Top 10 globally. In 2023, DAS Solar established a subsidiary in Germany to better serve European customers, along with a comprehensive supply chain and warehousing system, marking a significant step forward in its global expansion strategy and positioning it as the European business hub. In the future, DAS Solar will proactively address global climate change and strengthen its path towards international expansion.
