During the SNEC exhibition, in collaboration with TÜV SÜD, TÜV NORD, Kiwa PVEL, China General Certification Center ( referred to as CGC), and UL Solutions, DAS Solar held several certification ceremonies. The N-type rectangular module received the IEC TS 63126 High-Temperature Certification and the IEC 62892 Enhanced Thermal Cycle Certification. The N-type bifacial double glass offshore PV module received the ASTM E1597 Standard Commercial Inspection Test. Moreover, the DAS Solar lightweight half-cell module has been certified to the new IEC standard. In addition, the DAS Solar laboratory and Zhangzhou base laboratory has been accredited by CGC with the "WMT PV Laboratory" qualification for its advanced product testing and control capabilities.
Kiwa PVEL is an independent third-party testing laboratory that is recognized worldwide. To comprehensively evaluate the performance of photovoltaic modules from multiple perspectives, its Product Qualification Program (PQP) includes thermal cycling, damp heat, potential-induced degradation, light-induced degradation, light and elevated temperature-induced degradation, and mechanical stress sequence. DAS Solar's N-type high-efficiency double glass modules have showcased outstanding reliability in Kiwa PVEL PQP, and the Kiwa PVEL 2024 PV Module Reliability Scorecard Summary as "Top Performers."
Leveraging efficient N-type TOPCon 4.0 technology, DAS Solar focuses on further enhancing module power and reliability. The company introduced the rectangular N-type module last year, which increased power output and expanded product variety. They offer advantages such as zero light-induced degradation (LID), higher bifaciality, lower temperature coefficient, and superior performance under weak light conditions, meeting the diverse requirements of various application scenarios.
The IEC 62892 standard requires products to maintain stable performance after 300 cycles of testing in environmental temperatures ranging from -40℃ to 105℃. Compared to conventional thermal cycling tests, this standard involves higher temperatures, larger temperature variations, longer duration, and more stringent conditions, allowing for a comprehensive assessment of the product's performance in high-temperature regions over the long term. The IEC TS 63126 standard conducts UV tests, thermal cycling tests, dry heat tests, and material creep tests at various temperature levels to provide a graded evaluation. Under this rigorous testing, the DAS Solar N-type rectangular module has successfully passed the high-temperature Level 1 test. The DAS Solar N-type rectangular module has been awarded the "IEC TS 63126 High-Temperature Certification" and the "IEC 62892 Enhanced Thermal Cycling Certification" by TÜV SÜD, further highlighting the module's stable and efficient performance under extreme conditions.
Additionally, the DAS Solar N-type high-efficiency bifacial dual-glass offshore photovoltaic module was awarded the ASTM E1597 Standard Test certificate by UL Solutions at the exhibition. There are numerous harsh environmental challenges associated with offshore photovoltaic development, including high salt spray, high humidity, corrosion, powerful waves, and marine organisms. DAS Solar developed the N-type series of offshore photovoltaic products based on its extensive technical expertise and product innovation. A number of key components have been modified and upgraded in this series, including glass, coating solution, frame material, junction boxes, and connectors, resulting in high power generation, superior weather resistance, and excellent reliability, all of which can withstand harsh marine environments.
The lightweight half-cell module received the new IEC standard certification from the internationally recognized certification by TÜV NORD at the exhibition. The IEC 61215:2021 certification updates safety design requirements for modules, sets higher production demands on modules, and imposes stricter criteria for evaluating module safety and reliability. A single-sheet module weighs just 4.2kg/m2 and has a thickness of 4mm, resulting in a 70% weight reduction. They are compatible with a wide range of installation scenarios due to their glass-free lightweight design, which reduces load pressure on the installation surface.
DAS Solar has consistently prioritized the development of laboratory testing capabilities. A leading third-party technical service organization in China, CGC recently conducted a comprehensive and rigorous audit of DAS Solar's Zhangzhou PV laboratory. It was awarded the "WMT PV Laboratory" qualification by CGC at the exhibition for meeting the requirements of IEC 17025 and the CGC Manufacturer Testing Laboratory Management Procedures.
DAS Solar is dedicated to continuous exploration and rigorous research in N-type technology, consistently surpassing industry standards in cell and module efficiency. By acquiring multiple prestigious international certifications recently, DAS Solar not only demonstrates its exceptional innovation capabilities but also emphasizes its robust R&D and product capabilities.
