The damp heat resistance of PV modules is susceptible to being impacted by high temperatures and humidity. DAS Solar successfully passed a series of rigorous damp heat tests with its advanced N-type technology and long-lasting, reliable encapsulation techniques, demonstrating exceptional performance in extreme environments.

 

 

Several factors influence PV module energy yield capability, including power degradation, high-temperature performance, bifaciality, and low irradiance performance, etc. TOPCon 4.0 Plus cell technology utilizes an enhanced passivation structure in design and process to improve UVID and PID performance. Additionally, by simulating different environmental stresses and comparing mainstream encapsulation solutions to evaluate the long-term weather resistance of N-type modules, ultimately developing a high-reliability, long-lifespan encapsulation solution and technology. Currently, DAS Solar's N-type TOPCon cells achieve 742mV open-circuit voltage, with a module temperature coefficient of -0.28%/°C, 1.00% first-year power degradation, and 0.40% annual degradation, ensuring reliable performance in extreme environments.

 

DAS Solar Hainan Testing PV Plant is located in Ding'an County, Hainan Province, China, characterized by a hot and humid climate. Data from the plant shows that DAS Solar's N-type modules generate 5.3% more energy yield than P-type modules. Therefore, DAS Solar's N-type modules offer users long-term, stable returns on investment, ensuring enhanced profitability throughout the lifecycle of the PV plant.

 

Additionally, DAS Solar's N-type bifacial double glass modules underwent 2,000 hours of testing at 85°C and 85% humidity in the PV Module Product Qualification Program conducted by Kiwa PVEL. The performance of modules remained largely unaffected, further demonstrating their durability and stability under extreme cold, heat, and humid environments.
