DAS Solar Receives the TÜV Rheinland Witness Laboratory Certificate

Quzhou, Aug. 2, 2024 - DAS Solar, a leader in N-type PV technology, holds the certification ceremony of "TÜV Rheinland Witness Laboratory" in Zhejiang, China.

 

 

With N-type technology at its core, DAS Solar has set the world record for conversion efficiency of large-area TOPCon cells for three consecutive times within eight months. The cell achieves an impressive mass production efficiency of up to 26.6%, and a open-circuit voltage of 742mV. At SNEC 2024, the Diamond series of DBC modules launched by DAS Solar won wide recognition in the industry for its outstanding performance in terms of power, safety and stability. In addition, DAS Solar and renowned institutions like the University of New South Wales carry out industry-university-research cooperation, in the guidance of the ‘one core and three branches’ strategy. Based on the most advanced TOPCon cell technology and three supporting technologies of the DBC, TSiP, and SFOS, DAS Solar aims to improve the cell efficiency to 40%.

Dr. Dengyuan Song, CTO of DAS Solar, says that after DAS Solar's PV lab qualified as a CNAS Laboratory, a TÜV SÜD TMP Laboratory, and a TÜV Nord CTF2 Laboratory, the accreditation of TÜV Rheinland Witness Laboratory further demonstrates the global recognition of DAS Solar's lab testing capability, management system, environment, personnel and hardware, indicating the excellent quality control and R&D strength.

 

At the certification ceremony, Weichun Li, Global Head of Power Electronics, General Manager of Greater China’s Solar & Commercial Products at TÜV Rheinland, mentions that overseas markets have more demanding standards and requirements for the safety, performance and reliability of import products. As a leading inspection and certification institute in the industry, TÜV Rheinland will do its utmost to evaluate the performance parameters of the products, ensuring the stable operation throughout their life cycle.
