Birmingham, Sept. 25, 2024 - DAS Solar, a leader in N-type PV technology, showcases its latest N-type 4.0 modules and lightweight modules at the Solar & Storage Live in Birmingham, UK.
Solar capacity in the UK has exceeded 14 GW as of 2023, with projections suggesting it will reach 30 GW by 2030. Solar & Storage Live UK 2024 is the largest and most specialized event in the UK's solar industry, focusing on cutting-edge innovations and practical applications in solar and storage technologies, showcasing the most advanced green, intelligent, and sustainable solutions in energy systems.
DAS Solar unveils its N-type series at the exhibition, including 620W 72-cell bifacial dual-glass modules, 515W 60-cell DAS Black rectangular modules, 465W 54-cell rectangular modules with black framed, and lightweight modules with framed. DAS Solar's reliable, green, and differentiated products emphasize its brand strength, drawing significant attention from global audience.
As a leader in N-type technology, DAS Solar has significantly upgraded the appearance, performance and reliability of N-type series modules. DAS Solar 620W 72-cell bifacial dual-glass module features N-type TOPCon 4.0 Plus technology, incorporating a half-cell design, laser cutting, and dual-glass encapsulation. DAS Solar N-type series achieves a conversion efficiency of up to 23%, with first-year degradation ≤1% and subsequent annual degradation ≤0.4%. They offer advantages such as zero light-induced degradation (LID), higher bifaciality, lower temperature coefficient, and superior performance under weak light conditions, meeting the diverse requirements of various application scenarios, including residential, commercial, and utility-scale projects. Additionally, the module utilizes 182*210 mm rectangular silicon wafers, optimizing the size design to maximize container space and effectively reduce transportation costs by approximately 4.13%.
A 515W 60-cell DAS Black rectangular module and a 465W 54-cell rectangular module with black framed are introduced to serve the local distributed photovoltaic market. This product has been upgraded with a new coating process and sleek black design that allows it to seamlessly integrate into architectural environments while meeting the performance and aesthetic requirements of distributed rooftop applications.
The 475W lightweight half-cell module with framed features a glass-free design, replacing traditional photovoltaic backsheets with proprietary polymer fluorine composite materials, achieving over 70% weight reduction and overcoming installation challenges on low-load rooftops. With its detachable structure, the module is easy to install and highly compatible. A patented frame design minimizes micro-crack risks and meets IEC requirements for snow loads of 5400Pa and wind loads of 2400Pa, ensuring high reliability for a region with variable and complex environment.
In recent years, DAS Solar has actively expanded global presence, establishing subsidiaries in Europe to build a comprehensive localized sales and service network. This commitment ensures that DAS Solar provides Europe customers with a reliable assurance of long-term optimal value.
