DAS Solar presents N-type bifacial double glass module series at the Solar Show MENA 2023

2023-05-10

On 9-10th May, DAS Solar has exhibited at the Solar Show MENA 2023 in Egypt International Exhibition Center, Cairo, showcasing the series of high-efficiency N-type modules and lightweight modules.

Egypt spans Asia and Africa and is known for its arid climate and scarce rainfall. However, the country is rich in solar resources. According to Egypt's 2035 sustainable energy strategy, Egypt aims to produce 61 GW of renewable energy by 2035, with a solar capacity of 43 GW. As of 2022, Egypt's electricity supply is sourced from renewable energy to the extent of 20%, and Egypt plans to increase this proportion to 42% by 2035.

In the Solar Show MENA 2023, DAS Solar showcased several products, including N-type bifacial double glass module modules, N-type black-thru modules, P-type modules and lightweight modules. The series of DAS Solar N-type modules utilize the latest TOPCon3.0 plus technology, with the average efficiency of their cells reaching 25.3% in mass production and the highest efficiency exceeding 25.8%. The module efficiency is also impressive, achieving up to 22.8%. Also, the N-type black thru module is 3kg lighter than other double glass modules of the same size. The module utilizes a novel coating technology and colorless coating glass, transforming traditional blue cells into all black ones while generating more power. Moreover, DAS Solar N-type modules have many advantages, including higher conversion efficiency, lower power attenuation, superior weak light response, lower temperature coefficient, and reduced risk of micro-cracks. These benefits make it suitable for various applications, such as mountain utility, commercial and industrial rooftops. DAS Solar N-type modules have passed rigorous environmental tests for salt spray, ammonia resistance, and dust, ensuring reliable long-term operation even in dangerous areas. In addition, DAS Solar has introduced another key product at the show: lightweight modules. In the Egyptian market, the PV market is approaching maturity and needs more than just conventional modules. Lightweight modules are used on roofs with limited area or unable to bear weight, providing the market with new ideas for the full scenario module application.

Along with the policy of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st-century Maritime Silk Road between China and Egypt, China has become Egypt's largest trading partner. In the future, DAS Solar will continue to accelerate its exploration of the path toward international development and provide high-quality products.
