DAS Solar attends 2023 China-Europe Clean Energy-Industry Innovation Cooperation Conference

2023-12-03

Beijing, China, December 1st, 2023 - the China Science and Technology Exchange Center and the China Association of Productivity Promotion Center co-hosted the 2023 China-Europe Clean Energy-Industry Innovation Cooperation Conference in Beijing. A keynote speech by Mr. Leo Chang, Technical Support Director for DAS Solar, provided a comprehensive technical roadmap and advantages of DAS Solar's N-type 4.0 products.

Several representatives from leading clean energy companies, relevant social organizations from China and Europe, as well as renowned experts and scholars in the field of clean energy, were invited to the forum, aimed at increasing the China-European collaboration in clean energy technology innovation, exploring how Chinese and European clean energy can develop and innovate in a high-quality manner.

To address the challenges posed by the variations in dimensions of rectangular silicon wafer modules, resulting in material waste, and creating application difficulties in customer system designs, DAS Solar has reached a consensus with other PV leading enterprises on the standard dimensions for the new generation rectangular silicon wafer module previously. Using a rectangular wafer, DAS Solar's N-type 4.0 series modules feature a half-cell design and double glass encapsulation, enabling efficient bifacial power generation. 72-cell high-efficiency bifacial double glass modules optimized module design dimensions based on the industry's value chain. With a standardized design of 2382×1134×30mm, DAS Solar's 72-cell module maximizes container space utilization, effectively reducing transportation costs. With DAS Solar's cutting-edge TOPCon 4.0 technology, the module's output power reached 615W and its mass production efficiency reached 22.8%. Differing from traditional modules, the latest N-type module features dual POE encapsulation, which enhances the module's water resistance, light transmission, UV resistance, and aging resistance. They offered advantages such as zero light-induced degradation (LID), higher bifaciality, lower temperature coefficient, and superior performance under weak light conditions, meeting the diverse requirements of various application scenarios. The N-type modules have successfully passed the IEC tests three times, the modules are covered by a 15-year material warranty and a 30-year power warranty.

As a Tier 1 manufacturer and Top 500 Global New Energy enterprise, DAS Solar maintains a global perspective. To further strengthen the European market, a new subsidiary was established in Germany in January 2023. This subsidiary serves as a central hub for optimizing the European supply chain and warehouse system. DAS Solar previously partnered with Q Energy France to advance the construction of a floating photovoltaic project in France, which will become the largest floating photovoltaic plant in Europe upon completion. DAS Solar will offer a dependable assurance of long-term optimal value to global customers in the future through technology innovation and globalization strategy.
