DAS Solar exhibits N-type products at PVS ASEAN Conference & Expo 2023

2023-11-15

A leading N-type technology leader, DAS Solar, has exhibited its latest N-type products and lightweight products at the PVS ASEAN Conference & Expo 2023 in Indonesia on November 14.

Located near the equator, Indonesia has abundant sunlight resources throughout the year, receiving an average of 4.8 kWh/㎡ per day. The exhibition mainly focuses on showcasing the latest technological achievements, fostering business exchanges, and promoting collaboration, further driving the development of renewable energy in Indonesia and throughout Asia.

As one of the Tier 1 PV manufactures, DAS Solar is dedicated to continuous exploration and rigorous research in N-type technology, consistently surpassing industry standards in cell and module efficiency. Equipped with DAS Solar's cutting-edge TOPCon 4.0 cell technology, an impressive 26.33% efficiency was achieved by DAS Solar's large-area (333.4cm²) solar cell. Among the products showcased at the event were DAS Solar's latest high-efficiency 630W bifacial double glass N-type module, which utilizes the its TOPCon technology to deliver exceptional performance and reliability. It offers zero light-induced degradation, higher bifaciality, a lower temperature coefficient, and superior performance in low light environments.

In addition, 430W lightweight high density modules self-developed by DAS Solar are attracting visitors to the exhibition. Instead of glass, these modules use fluorine-containing high-molecular-weight transparent frontsheets, reducing traditional modules' weight and installation difficulties. The front of the modules is made of fluorine-containing high-molecular materials with interlayers encapsulated in POE film, while the back is made from aluminum foil composite. This triple-layer design ensures a "0" water permeability rate, resulting in excellent UV radiation, aging, and fire resistance. Using flexible encapsulation technology, these modules can bend up to 880mm, allowing seamless integration with roof installation requirements. It is possible to install them directly, eliminating the need for mounting structures, seamlessly integrating with the installation environment. Besides improving aesthetics, this also reduces the installation systems of BOS cost, making module suitable for full scenarios application.

The solar market in Asia has been advancing rapidly in recent years as part of the global energy transition. In the future, DAS Solar intends to comprehensively expand its presence in the Southeast Asian market, establishing local sales, logistics, customer service, and other network systems. This commitment ensures that DAS Solar offers global customers a reliable assurance of long-term optimal value. DAS Solar is currently showcasing its latest products at Hall 9 - 2726 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition until November 16, 2023.
