Yunnan, located in the southern part of China, is a province characterized by its mountainous and tropical terrain. Yunnan boasts abundant solar resources and is one of the most solar-rich provinces in China, offering promising prospects for the growth of photovoltaic power generation. However, approximately 84% of Yunnan's landscape is mountainous, which presents environmental constraints for photovoltaic development. By navigating diverse topographical environments seamlessly, DAS Solar's flexible bracket effectively overcomes Yunnan's land use restrictions.
This flexible bracket project is located in the mountainous area of Yimen County, Yuxi City, Yunnan Province, spans an area of 1217 acres with a total budget of approximately 240 million yuan. Rugged terrain and numerous ravines make the installation of photovoltaic modules challenging. DAS Solar's flexible bracket effectively addressed this installation problem. The project boasts a total capacity of 11.51MW, with an average spacing of 100 meters between east-west arrays. On the challenging north-facing mountain slopes, DAS Solar used flexible brackets of its mounting solutions to assemble arrays of modules. A significant improvement in land utilization has resulted in the PV plant being economically sustainable.
Designed specifically for Yimen County, Yunnan Province, DAS Solar's flexible bracket project takes into account the local climate, topography, sunlight, and humidity. It is an agricultural project that combines the cultivation of medicinal herbs with the generation of green electricity. The modules generate green electricity, while herbs grow under the modules. In addition to optimizing agricultural industry structure, this model improves economic benefits and mountainous land utilization efficiency. Compared with traditional brackets, the flexible bracket presents a number of advantages in application. DAS Solar's flexible bracket has been subjected to numerous extreme weather tests, ensuring the safe operation of projects in all conditions. The east-west flexible brackets of DAS Solar are loaded by two prestressed steel cables. The north-south spans are also supported by a stable wind-resistant system, creating a spatial cable network. As a result of this structure, external loads are effectively absorbed and it plays a crucial role in the construction of power stations in mountainous areas. The flexible bracket of DAS Solar adapts efficiently to undulating terrain in mountainous regions, increasing installed capacity by 25% within the same area. It significantly reduces the amount of foundation work and steel required during installation, reducing on-site assembly work and enhancing installation efficiency by over 20%. Furthermore, the flexible bracket incorporates a state-of-the-art anti-corrosion coating, demonstrating high reliability, salt spray resistance, and corrosion endurance.
As a full-scenario applications provider, DAS Solar consistently strives to build a comprehensive service ecosystem for photovoltaic new energy integration. DAS Solar continually explores the 'photovoltaic+' application model, focusing on the comprehensive utilization of complex environments like mountains, water surfaces, deserts, and more. Providing a new impetus for rural revitalization, DAS Solar will continue to explore photovoltaic applications across various scenarios in the future.
